With a couple of stops along the way to do some "normal" housework and have some lunch, I can show you that four hours later, I really have a cutting station ready to go!
The red Folgers coffee container is what I throw my bits and pieces in while cutting. And the basket that is kind of overflowing at the far side of the table are scraps that need to be cut into strips. I've even got my mystery group notebook out to cut my pieces for this month's class which is on Saturday. Oh, wow! It's not even Friday and I can cut my pieces!!

Who ever messed up your cutting table was here too. Maybe the cleanup person will come here next? Looks good!

It's never ending here too. My cutting table is a catch-all for the room. Along with my extra table and desk.LOL
whoever said it was easy must've had a maid.
Unfortunately, we don't like empty surfaces at my house. Rarely there is one, but if so, I bet it can't stay that way half a day! Right now, downstairs cutting table holding things from table behind machine so I could machine quilt. Upstairs quilting table--well, I know something's under there holding all the stuff up!
Although my work space looks just as bad as when you started, I realized what I was missing -- a TV!!
